Attorney Biography

Chuck Ehlers is an associate at the law firm of Hasse & Nesbitt LLC.  His practice concentrates intellectual property matters, including preparation and prosecution of patent applications and advising clients regarding freedom to market, patent infringement and validity matters.   Chuck also has experience in intellectual property, trade secret, and antitrust litigation.

Chuck received his J.D., with honors, from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law in 1995, where he was a Managing Editor for the Law Review, and his B.S. in engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1992.  Before joining Hasse & Nesbitt, he practice law for 3 years and founded and led a local manufacturing company for 10 years.

Chuck is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Cincinnati Intellectual Property Law Association.  He is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and in the State of Ohio.
